Ankündigung: WIDERSTAND IST ZWECKLOS! RESISTANZ FESTIVAL goes 2020!

RESISTANZ 2020 – April 10-12th, The Corporation, Sheffield, UK.

Genau rechtzeitig zu Ostern steigt das RESISTANZ aus der Versenkung empor und kehrt an seinen spirituellen Heimatort in Sheffield’s berüchtigte Corporation zurück. Erstmals in 2011 das Licht der Welt erblickend, fand das Festival das letzte Mal in 2016 statt. Nun, nach vier Jahren Abstinenz, wird das Festival drei Tage lang sowohl abgefahrene Live Musik und klingende Schallplatten (oder entsprechend digitale Pendents), als auch erlesene DJs und After Show Parties aufbieten und darüber hinaus alles, was ein Festival sonst noch aufweisen muss.

Das ausverkaufte Festival weist ein einzigartiges und erfürchtiges LineUp dieses Jahr vor. Das Feinste von neuen und wiederkehrenden Bands aus EBM, Electro, Industrial und Synthpop, Noise bis zu Techno wird die Besucher in seinen Bann ziehen wie nie zuvor. Mit Sicherheit wird einer der bemerkenswertesten Auftritte durch STRAFTANZ erfolgen, deren öffentliche Auftritte extrem rar geworden sind. In Zeiten in denen Populisten immer mehr Macht gewinnen, das Vereinigte Königreich die Europäische Bruderschaft verläßt in einigen Tagen, muss die RESISTANZ gegen diese bösärtigen Kräfte immer mehr an Moment gewinnen.

Just in time for Easter, RESISTANZ rejuvenates once again, in “it’s sprititual home at Sheffield’s infamous Corporation venue” as the organises exlaim. Starting in 2011 and last time conducted in 2016, after four years of absence, the festival will feature 3 days of live music, spinning records by a fine set of DJs, after show parties and anything a festival nowadays has to offer.

The sold out festival offers a magnificent line up like no other festival this year will provide. The finest of new and returning acts from EBM, electro, industrial and synthpop, noise to techno will enthrall the visitors like never before. For sure one of the outstanding acts will be STRAFTANZ whose public shows became quite rare. In times where populists gain in power, the United Kingdom leaves the European Brotherhood in a few days, RESISTANZ against those malicious forces need to gain momentum.
