Als Bassist und Sänger hat MARKO HIETALA die finnischen Superstars NIGHTWISH schon seit Jahren maßgeblich geprägt. Doch wie das oft mit großen Künstlern ist – ihre pausenlos sprudelnde Quelle an Kreativität sucht immer wieder neue Möglichkeiten, sich zu entfalten und strebt beständig ans Tageslicht. Mit seiner ersten Band TAROT führte Hietala viele Jahre lang die finnische Heavy Metal-Szene an, doch nach dem Tod ihres Schlagzeugers wurde es ruhig um diese Truppe. Umso mehr freuen wir uns nun und sind gespannt, wie die neuen Songs von Marko live klingen. Auf finnisch ist das Album “Mustan Sydämen Rovio” schon seit Mai letzten Jahres verfügbar, jetzt folgt das Release der englischsprachigen Version unter dem gleichbedeutenden Namen “Pyre Of The Black Heart” mit dazugehöriger Tour. Auf geht’s!

MARKO HIETALA is well-known as the bassist and singer of the finnish superstars NIGHTWISH and had a big influence in their music. However, the creativity of artists often searches new ways to break out and shine. With his first band TAROT MARKO HIETALA used to be leader of the pack in finnish heavy metal scence for years, but after their drummer’s death there have not been any more vital signs of this band. So we’re very glad and curious about hearing new songs of Marko being played live. The finnish version of his album called “Mustan Sydämen Rovio” is already available since may 2019 and now it’s time for the english version to be released and presented live under the name “Pyre Of The Black Heart”, which means pretty much the same. Let’s go!
